TURKIELTAUB AND TURTLEDOVE FROM MEZRITCH, CHELM AND ZIMBABWE General Information

The common ascendant of the Mezritch Branch was born in Mezritch approximately in 1850. His son, Simcha Turkieltaub, was also born in Mezritch. There are several places with that name. However, it is almost certainly the one located at 22.47 longitued, 51.59 latitude. Simcha's grandson, Peisaj, was born in Chelm but moved to Rhodesia, presently Zimbabwe.
